This is the forth beta in the third release of Dipforge. This release fixes the following bugs:

• Added a keep alive process to the RDF layer to prevent mysql connections from timing out.
• Added thread locking support to the RDF layer to prevent dirty reads and writes.
• Fixed a dead lock in the transaction logic.

This is the second beta release of dipforge. This release focused on stability and usability. The following changes where made :

• Added an Ubuntu service configuration file. This allows Dipforge to run as a service on Ubuntu.
• Added the groovy web service libraries.
• Added the groovy web http builder libraries.
• Fixed bugs with the Web-IDE’s folder management

This is the first Beta release of Dipforge. It includes a lot of changes over the previous Alpha versions. These includes

• A binary installer to make life easier.
• A change from basic authentication to form based authentication form based login.
• The removal of the reverse proxy as it caused problems with the form based login.
• A social network feed which is like a simple a simple twitter feed.
• A simple ISP example as a demonstration of what the platform can do.
• Centralized versioning of all jar files was enabled.
• Various bug fixes and stabilisation changes

This release focuses on improving stability of the platform. This has been done by focusing on improving the redundancy around the stop and start process. As the platform was behaving unpredictable after a number of restarts. A large number of these issues have now been corrected and the system now handles restarts gracefully.

This release focuses on making the Web IDE more user friendly and more visually appealing by adding ICON’s for different sections. Different icons helps the users orientate themselves as to which section they are in. This is a minor upgrade but hopefully a useful one.
